Color Outside the Lines Again: Unlocking the Dreamer in You

Today, I sat in a moment of deep thought, wondering what changed about me? Why do I feel so unmotivated sometimes—like the very things I need to do to get where I want to go feel like a chore? Why do the people and goals that once lit me up now feel a little… cloudy?

I asked myself, “When was I my sharpest?”
When could I see it—so clearly that it almost felt like I could reach out and grab it? And when did all that start to fade?

It hit me—I lost touch with my child-like imagination.

Remember when we were kids and nothing felt too far-fetched? We didn’t care about “how,” we just dreamed big. We imagined ourselves in castles, on stages, flying planes, running companies, saving the world—all in the same afternoon. But as we got older, life started handing out distractions like candy. And instead of dreaming, we started doubting. We started adulting… hard.

Somewhere along the way, I couldn’t see my dreams as clearly anymore. And that blurred vision? It didn’t just affect my goals—it made me numb, frustrated, tired. I was miserable, and that’s saying a lot for someone like me, because my one word is progress. And it’s safe to say I wasn’t making any.

So, guess what I did? I hit reset.
I decided to go back to the beginning—to the blank canvas. No rules. No fear. Just imagination.

I gave myself permission to dream again—not halfway, not safe, but BIG. I’m rebuilding my clarity from the ground up. I’m making the vision so clear in my head that it becomes second nature to my heart. Because when your heart believes it, baby, your feet will follow.

Can you see your future?
Do you dare to sit still and focus long enough to imagine it with color, texture, and feeling?

I won’t lie—I struggle to sit still sometimes too. My mind races. My to-do list never ends. But we all have to start somewhere. Even if it’s just 5 minutes a day to close your eyes and see it again.

Let your imagination off the leash.
Dust off those forgotten dreams.
Color outside the lines.

Because you’re not too old.
It’s not too late.
And imagination? That’s the birthplace of everything real.

Let’s go higher, fam.
