I know I have.
Today, let’s talk about something real: How long can you sit and listen to your own thoughts? Are you comfortable with that?
I have to be honest—I haven’t mastered it yet. And maybe that’s the next step I need to take to get my next win. What about you?
Are you afraid to be alone with your thoughts?
Do you have to keep your hands busy while you wait?
Do you need noise around you just to feel comforted?
If you answered “yes” to any of those, you’re not alone. Most of us are so used to doing that we’ve forgotten how to just be.
Before we step into 2026, let’s try something different. Let’s do some exercises to learn more about ourselves. Because I truly believe this will help us move toward being Human BEINGS instead of Human DOINGS all the time.
Here are a few mental baby steps to start:
✅ Step 1: Sit in silence for 5 minutes today. No phone. No music. Just you and your thoughts.
✅ Step 2: Write down what comes up—without judgment.
✅ Step 3: Ask yourself: Why do I feel the need to fill the silence?
✅ Step 4: Repeat this daily and increase the time slowly.
It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. Because the more comfortable you become with your own thoughts, the more clarity you’ll have for your next big move.
So, let me know how it turns out for you—because I’m definitely going to need some mental baby steps to get there too.
Good luck!
