I’m not going to lie—every time I think about moving, I get tired. Anybody else feel that? You’ve got goals, dreams, and a vision that’s calling your name, but the weight of life sometimes makes you want to hit snooze on your destiny.
So here’s my truth: the first thing I MUST do this year is RESTORE.
Restore my energy.
Restore my drive.
Restore my motivation.
Restore my clarity of vision.
I need to bring back that “Get’eerrrr done” attitude and ACTION. Because without restoration, distractions win. And I refuse to let them.
Weapons of MASS DISTRACTION
Let’s call them out:
- Comfort Zones – That cozy space where you keep saying, “I’ll start tomorrow.” Tomorrow is a liar.
- Comparison – Watching someone else’s highlight reel while your masterpiece sits in drafts.
- Overcommitment – Saying “yes” to everything except the thing that matters most.
- Fear of Failure – That whisper that says, “What if you mess up?” Flip it: What if you WIN?
- Excuses – The prettiest lies we tell ourselves. “I don’t have time.” Sis, you have time for what you make time for.
But here’s the thing: I am NOT what I’ve been through—and neither are YOU. Those 40-ish scars? They’ve surfaced, sure. But they don’t define me. They remind me that I’m still standing, still fighting, still moving forward.
So, what’s the move?
- Restore before you run. You can’t pour from an empty cup. Fill up your energy tank first.
- Identify your distractions. Name them. Call them out.
- Replace them with focus. Build habits that serve your vision, not sabotage it.
- Protect your peace and your purpose. Every “yes” should be a step toward your goals.
2026 is YOUR year to stop playing defense and start scoring. No more distractions. No more delays. No more detours.
Your dreams are waiting. Your tribe is waiting. Your future self is waiting.
So, tell me—what weapons of MASS DISTRACTION are you ready to lay down today? And what will you do to RESTORE your power?
